Cannon correction: I was just in a certain large bookstore when I came across a book entitled “House of Silk,” a Holmes novel written by Anthony Horowitz and authorized by the Conan Doyle Estate. I’ve just begun to read it, and so far so good, though I would leave a thorough review of the book to those who know Holmes far better than I.
