Join us again tomorrow for another detective drama from the Golden Age of Radio.
Alas! This, with its full orchestral score, could’ve been a superior radio adaptation of an Agatha Christie story, but while Hercule Poirot’s deduction regarding the death in question being murder is acceptable, he pulls the proverbial rabbit from a hat when naming the murderer, this with, it would seem, Divine Intervention rather than deductions of any kind. And his final revelation, that the guilty party intended to blame another character in the story as the killer, calls not only for Divine Intervention, but a Revelation from the Mount!
