I agree with the critique of the episode in your commentary afterward, but would like to add that there was also some sloppy police work, apparently: the glass from the broken window would demonstrate where the shot came from. If the broken glass was on the kitchen floor, the shot came from outside; if it was out on the porch, then the gun had been thrown out to break the window. No need to take testimony on that point. Enjoyable as always. Thanks!
