Hi Adam. I am really enjoying the Dick Tracy serials. Strangely, I find the Quaker Oats spots the most interesting. The cereal “Shot from a Gun”! How was that ever considered to be a _good_ thing?

The secret messages really intrigued me. I looked online and finally found a copy of the code. A link to the code and decoded messages from each episode are below. The messages are a nice tie in with the episodes. Allowing the listeners to learn how to get their
own version of the “Lucky Black Pearl of Osiris” ring. Made out of 14k gold plated brass, with a secret compartment and everything.
As an over awed Jr said: “Gee, that sure is a swell ring!” And I had to have one. Unfortunately Quaker stopped making Puffed Wheat and Puffed Rice (only last year as it turns out) and as such the box tops are hard to find. So I am making a 3d printed replica Dick Tracy ring. If it comes out nice I will send you a few to use as donation gifts.

    Decoded messages:
Feb 8 1938: ‘Watch for Secret Ring.’
Feb 9 1938:’Secret Ring Brings Luck.’  The message in the episode was:  ‘Come Quick’
Feb 10 1938:’Secret Ring From Egypt’
Feb 11 1938:   ‘Clue To Secret Ring Monday’
