    I’m not sure I understand why this story was supposed to be so special. The protagonist was utterly unlikeable, jumping down everyone’s throat insulting them and calling them “stupid” whenever they couldn’t help her in exactly the way she wanted them to (usually due to perfectly reasonable regulations or technical limitations). Also, the ending was more or less telegraphed the moment she pointed out that her own home fit the parameters the killers described, leaving the only question as “when will they finally get her so we won’t have to listen to her insult everyone anymore?”
