You got me curious about the little history of when That Strong Guy originally aired. So I went to newspaper.com and did a search of the title That Strong Guy in both 1955 and 1956 not one paper in the United States listing the radio show but instead it had many listing in at least two Australia papers with big ads. The earliest from March 31, 1955 stating Tonight at 9 That Strong Guy thrilling adventures with Steve Strong private investigator. Presented by Norman R. Smith, Preassembled Homes. Then on October 13, 1955 there was an listing in the Melbourne Age Radio Section a picture of the actress Ruth Cracknell and it says Ruth Cracknell plays a leading role in AW’s new drama series, That Strong Guy (9:00pm) Thursday. I went on IMDB Ruth Cracknell is an actress from Australia. So I think the reason we do not have much information about this series that this is not an American series but a foreign series produced in Australia.

Not sure if this is still a question, but here are two more references to That Strong Guy being an Australian show.
