Ahhh, the lad, J. David Goldin still expounds on that magical piece of furniture which on Sunday mornings in the esarly 1940s took me to the beautiful Isles of the Sunny Pacific where, when Webley Edwards told the Air temps, the water temps, and said with an emotionally charged husky voice, " . . . wishing you were here with us on the beach of Waikiki (pause) this (pause) fine (pause) day." which made me so homesick for a place this 10-year-old kid had never been I began crying to go. Finally, in 1994, my dream came true. I was there.

But J. David never got any of Webley Edwards' "Hawaii Calls" shows, did he???

Dave, Parkinson's got me!!! But I'm still living and praying to hear "HAWAII CALLS" via CDs or DVDs just to once again cry in sincere homesickness as Webley says to me, "Wishing you were here with us this (pause) fine (pause) day."

Your old Cheap Bastard (You called me that -I have WRITTEN PROOF ! ! !
