    Warming soup up
    in the office
    microwave and
    my bowl explodes.

    Run to Target
(after cleaning — Red Clam Chowder — sprayed all over!)
    New bowl sturdy
    thickglass pyrex.

    After washing,
    hold to lamplight
    checking for specks.

    See ship’s anchor
    stamped in soupbowl.
    Take to window,
    hold in sunlight
    reading fine print:

    Anchor Hocking —
    Boston Blackie’s
    Long time sponsor.

    timbabwe
read like an indian war chant,
with the rhythm of “anch-or HOCK-ing”.

The shock must have affected my memory.
Anchor Hocking was the sponsor of “Casey, Crime Photographer”.

    Rinso sponsored Blackie.
