HI Adam: I love listening to your podcasts. Nick Carter and Johnny Dollar are my favorites that you are running at this time. However, my all time favorite is Sherlock Holmes with Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce. I am very interested in taking a tour of Dragnet when you start that sequence again. Thank for all the great background information you provide. Awesome job, keep it coming. FYI: I access the podcasts on Itunes. I would like to switch to my Android machine but I do not know how to get similar access on that platform. Any tips you could provide would be appreciated. Gary

Hi, Adam! I listen to your podcasts at work and in my car (via auxiliary cable). I particularly enjoy Johnny Dollar and Dragnet, but have enjoyed every show I’ve heard! I agree that the new mic sounds really good – keep up the good work!

I cant get enough of Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar, even though the shows were aired 15 years before I was born, its like a time warp for me. Maybe I am an old soul. Its now a part of daily routine and I cant go to sleep at night without listening to a few episodes.Mandel Kramer so far is my favorite Johnny Dollar. I just donated to your site as a token of my appreciation for all your hard work and excellent commentary. Thank you Francis from Douglaston Queens NY.

I want to nominate Virginia Gregg to be at the top of your list of “Radio’s most essential women.”
She was a great friend of our family, and my father, James E. Doyle, worked with Virginia in radio for years in Hollywood.
He always said that Virginia came to work on time, always knew her lines, and could authentically mimic a huge number of foreign accents. No wonder she found so much work.
Virginia told me once that Jack Webb had given her the best professional complement she had ever received when he told her if she were to read one of his Dragnet scripts and liked the part – even if the part was written for a man – he’d have it rewritten for her. She was just that darned good.
